Our Tutors
Alex S
Alex is a fun, engaging and professional teacher! He has taught the Ontario Math curriculum for over 5 years, including Data Management, Calculus & Vectors, Advanced Functions, Grade 9, Grade 10. and Grade 11 Alex has experience tutoring and teaching one-on-one and in group sessions too! What makes Alex unique is his love for gaming and computer science. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science and continued his studies in Interactive Media Management. Alex makes his sessions engaging by incorporating real-life scenarios using games, tv shows, real-life scenarios and much more for practice questions!
Alex spends his summers as Assistant Director at Camp Arrowhead in Innisfil, where he found his passion for inspiring the younger generations!
Alex found there was a gap in the tutoring businesses for a modern, fun, engaging approach to teaching, and that is how THE AKADEMY was born. Taking his first name and his partner’s Katie.
